Bianca Ramirez is an associate producer for KPCC’s award-winning newsroom. Bianca has a minor in Business Entrepreneurship and certificate in professional events planning. While doing her undergrad studies at CSULB, she was a technical adviser and segment producer for Advanced Media Production.
Ramirez grew up in South Los Angeles and still calls the region her home. A first-generation college graduate, she earned a Bachelors of Arts in Broadcast Journalism at Cal State Long Beach in 2008. That same year, she also joined the KPCC team.
Ramirez's favorite quick-getaway destination is Santa Barbara. (She loves that 72-degree-ocean-breeze weather!)
