Before joining KPCC, Elizabeth worked as a freelance writer for Time Out Los Angeles covering the L.A. lifestyle.

Her journalism career began during her freshman year of college, and she has since traveled to Guatemala and Philadelphia as a reporter. She has a bachelor’s in journalism from Cal State Fullerton and wrote for the campus newspaper and magazine while in school.

A SoCal native, Elizabeth lives in Lincoln Heights.
