Julie Westfall is an associate digital editor for KPCC.org, focusing on the intersection of breaking, social and regional news, and the best way to tell stories in the digital age.
Prior to joining KPCC, Julie was a news editor for the much-lauded regional news site TBD.com in Washington, D.C. where she led its breaking news, politics and transportation coverage.
Westfall graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and once served in the Peace Corps in Mali. She also likes to watch tennis on TV and cook every kind of noodle dish.
