Institutional Giving Officer
As Institutional Giving Officer for Southern California Public Radio, Paria Russo builds relationships with foundations and other institutions on behalf of SCPR. She also crafts grant proposals and other funder communications, and contributes to the development of SCPR's institutional fundraising strategy.
Prior to joining SCPR, Paria served as Development Manager for the Ballot Initiative Strategy Center (BISC) in Washington, D.C., a progressive strategy and technical assistance organization focused on ballot measures, and as Deputy Development Director of the Public Interest Network, a nationwide family of environmental and consumer advocacy nonprofits. Before becoming a fundraiser, she worked as a legal affairs reporter and as a public policy analyst.
Paria holds a B.A. in English and Political Science from U.C. Davis and a J.D. from Loyola Law School. She is a member of the California State Bar.
