Rob Strauss is the Senior News Producer at KPCC: Southern California Public Radio. Prior to that he was the lead news and "All Things Considered" producer for the station.
Rob joined the KPCC in 2004 as its first "Morning Edition" producer and has helped craft reports on the restoration of Pomona’s Fox Theatre, the participation of local Cambodians in the trial of Khmer Rouge leaders and a local woman’s quest to climb Mt. Everest, among others.
Prior to joining KPCC, Rob worked at Los Angeles news station KFWB for six years as a weekend news editor and production assistant. He earned a BA in broadcasting at the University of La Verne.
When he's not at work, he enjoys playing the guitar and gets his exercise chasing his three kids around the house.
