Freaky Franco

This week's New York Magazine features an extensive piece on James Franco. He has become a specimen of wonder in the tabloids, gaining notoriety as speculation has swirled around his sexuality, weird public interactions with fans and journalists, and his unusual roles, such as "Franco" on the soap, General Hospital.

His obsessive behavior has left people wondering what his deal really is.

To give you an idea of what I'm talking about, he:

• is currently enrolled in four master's programs at four different schools 
• will begin a PhD program at Yale before he is done with all of those master's programs 
• is organizing an art show based on his "Franco" role on General Hospital 
• has participated in nine film and tv projects released so far this this year

Franco is certainly a busy man, but we hope to have him on the show to speak with Madeleine about yet another project: his new book of short stories to be released in October, titled Palo Alto.
