VAT Meat

What's for dinner in 2050? It's a question scientists in Britian are trying to answer now.
What's the rush? In 40 years our planet will have over 9 billion people and possibly a much harsher climate. Feeding everyone will be a major challenge.
The Guardian is reporting that at least one scientist has come up with an answer: artificial meat, made in a giant vat.
(I almost threw up while writing that sentence)
Peta is throwing their weight behind the proposal, offering $1 million to the first scientist to develop in vitro meat.
The reality show pitch really writes itself:
"It's Top Chef meets The Blob!"
Stay tuned...
