Disney's princesses are in trouble. They're not trapped in a tower or under a sleeping spell... they're just not reaching the right audiences.
We talked to Dawn Chmielewski of the LA Times about how Disney plans to phase out the fairy tale. Despite Tangled's box office success (it brought in $69 million over the 5 day Thanksgiving break), Disney has no new additions to the princess cannon in the works.
