Anybody lose a jet ski? Alex Cohen found one. In the LA River.

Alex Cohen

Alex Cohen, our brilliant All Things Considered anchor, mother to a little girl who one day may briefly rule the world before the robot overlords take over, saw this in the Los Angeles River the other day, Atwater Village side.

Here's a closeup:

I kayaked the LA River last summer. People like George Wolfe who spend time out there regularly say they've seen all kinds of things. But in terms of mobile sources of pollution, I haven't ever seen anything bigger than a jet ski. Unmanned, no less. (Or, unwomanned.)

Thus, I love this image. Has anyone seen anything bigger than a jet ski out there lately?
