It was announced this week by the California Department of Parks and Recreation that the price of a Vehicle Day Use Annual Pass is increasing from $125 to $195. But for those who want to score a pass at the former lower price to enjoy the state’s great outdoors, there’s still a way to save that additional $70.

As reported by the L.A. Times, anyone who becomes a member of the California State Parks Foundation through the month of May will be able to purchase an annual state parks pass for only $125. The membership also comes with 10 percent off camping reservations, a parklands, newsletter, a hiking book and more. The offer ends on June 1.

The California Department of Parks and Recreation will also be hosting a fundraising ParkFilm Fest this Saturday featuring a “Pirates of the Caribbean” movie marathon at Paramount Studios. Tickets are $20 per person per film.
