Glendale Unified Schools closed Tuesday
Because of conditions created by the Station Fire, all Glendale Unified School District schools have been canceled for Tuesday, September 1, 2009. Unless conditions change, all schools will be open Wednesday, September 2, 2009.
Due to the ever-changing fire situation, evacuations, and air quality, schools will be closed on Tuesday, September 1, 2009. School site staff are not to report to their school on Tuesday (September 1, 2009) unless contacted by their principal. All District Office and FASO employees are to report to work on Tuesday September 1, 2009. We appreciate your patience, wish all of those affected by the fire well, and are committed to assuring the safety of our students and staff.
