UCLA to play at RFK Stadium Tuesday

It's usual this time of year to run into runningbacks from Ohio State or the University of Oregon around town this week. Lawry's closes down for the "beef bowl" where the guys chow down. Disneyland is over run by people wearing team colors.

I never thought I'd run into the same thing here in Washington.

UCLA is playing at RFK Stadium Tuesday in the EagleBank Bowl.

The town is not over run by blue and gold, but there are a lot of football players hanging out in the subway and museums around town. The snow is a big deal for them. What's left of it. And practice in the cold is a new experience.

But of course, the night life is the big attraction for this age group. Steer clear of the area around the Verizon Center. You might get flattened by a linebacker.
