My name is Isabel Wood and this is Izzy’s Diary.

Washington, DC is very different from Los Angeles ‘cause it has a lot of buildings and like the Capitol, Washington Monument, you’re like right there.

When I came here at first, it was like – like it didn’t look real.

To me, I don’t know, but I need to see something to know that it’s working. Well, I don’t necessarily know that it’s working but it’s a building there. Obviously there’s people there that’s trying to help you out, trying to make bills, trying to make laws that help the people.

Oh, of course I was so joyous when I saw the snow ‘cause it was the first time I ever saw snow. Oh my God! But I guess people here are just normal to where they just hate it. But I think that it’s cool. I don’t know why.
