Garcetti father and son with Kyra Sedgwick

For years, I've been trying to persuade Gil Garcetti that they need the character of a plucky public radio reporter on his show "The Closer.". Garcetti is our former DA. He's now a producer of the popular show. A few years ago, I got to trawl through the main character Brenda's closet for a story.)

Well, no NPR characters this season, but you can catch a glimpse of Gil and son Eric Garcetti on Monday's season premiere. No word on whether they're playing a retired DA turned photographer and a former college professor turned LA City Council President.
