There's a small group of reporters camped outside the office of Maxine Waters.
It's a much smaller pack than was haunting the hallways outside NY Democrat Charles Rangel's office a couple of weeks ago.
This is a one day opportunity for DC reporters. House members are here for a caucus meeting and a likely 3pm vote on education jobs and Medicaid funding. And then they fly home. So far, reporters outside of Congresswoman Waters' office have spotted a couple of guys identified as Rangel aides wandering in and out of the Waters' office. I had a brief but friendly exchange with a harried looking deputy on his way to grab a 10 am breakfast. And so we wait.
