President Obama's delayed his trip, the Congressional Budget Office gave Democrats good news, and it appears Nancy Pelosi is rounding up support from some fiscally conservative members. It's looking like a Sunday vote is likely.
However, nothing in this debate has gone according to anyone's timetable, so how things look today may not mean much.
We also have word of a bipartisan framework for immigration reform. If healthcare reform was contentious, immigration reform might be even more polarizing. We'll see how this plays out in the months to come.
