With Sunday's House passage of the modified healthcare reform, many questions remain about how the plan will be implemented. Of course, the Senate still has to vote on the House's changes to the Senate bill.
Wednesday evening, we'll take on a huge part of the plan -- the individual mandate that everyone will have to get covered by health insurance. Please join me at the new Crawford Family Forum at our new SCPR headquarters in Pasadena. The program will tape at 6:30 p.m. and air Thursday morning at 11:00.
We'll talk about who will qualify for subsidies and how much money will be available to help pay mandated insurance. We'll also examine whether the mandate is enforceable.
RSVP to: firstname.lastname@example.org. I sure hope to see you there.
Also, if you didn't catch the article on SCPR's new Mohn Broadcast Center in Saturday's Los Angeles Times, it's still available on the Times' website. It's a look at how much has changed at KPCC over the past decade.
