VIDEO: 'Gungan Style' Star Wars/Gangnam mashup = Internet videos deconstructed

Funny Or Die

Ready to share the latest funny video with your friends? People tend to enjoy when two things they like are combined. That's basically the business model behind a lot of the Internet, such as sites like TeeFury, which combine two pop culture things to make one T-shirt people want to pick up. It's also the philosophy behind a lot of hugely popular Internet videos.

Los Angeles writer and comedian Nick Wiger's Funny or Die video "Gungan Style (Gangnam Style Parody)" takes viewers on a journey, delivering a minute of exactly what you'd expect: A riff on PSY's "Gangnam Style" music video, combined with the Star Wars world, including Gungan Jar Jar Binks, Princess Leia and more.

Then it takes a left turn and makes you think.

Proving the video's point: There were already dozens of other videos on YouTube before this one trying to offer "Gungan Style."

(Warning: This video contains some brief content that some may find objectionable, and it will also likely depress you and make you wonder what you're doing with your life.)
