'Hunger Games' goes from People's Choice wins to costume tour, auction

“The Hunger Games” cleaned up big at the People’s Choice Awards this week, taking home five awards including “Favorite Movie,” “Favorite Face of Heroism” for star Jennifer Lawrence and “Favorite On-Screen Chemistry” for the film’s love triangle. You can see some of those outfits the young stars were getting sweaty and dirty in this weekend at the Hollywood Show in Los Angeles, as the costumes are going on tour before being auctioned this fall.

The collection includes costumes worn on screen by Jennifer Lawrence’s Katniss, Josh Hutcherson’s Peeta, Elizabeth Bank’s Effie and many more. You can even get your hands on clothes worn by Lenny Kravitz, which may be significantly less weird than what Kravitz wears in his day-to-day life.

This weekend’s exhibit is a sneak preview, while the full tour begins in March in Seattle at the Emerald City Comic Con, followed by appearances in April in Chicago and in October at the New York Comic Con, with more dates to be announced in the future. The live auction will take place at New York Comic Con, with over 200 costumes up for sale.

The Hollywood Show is at the Westin Los Angeles Airport Hotel airport this weekend.

I’m sorry though, Effie — I won't be bidding. I’m not sure I could pull off that much lavender.
