This Sunday is Super Bowl Sunday! Are you psyched? Or are you one of millions who don’t really care? If so, this is for you!

Check out the live events here in Los Angeles — plus TV, DVDs and movies that would make appropriate choices for everyone this day if you’d rather jump off a bridge than watch someone jump for a pigskin.

1. Live events (theater and music)

Maybe you want to get out of the house to enjoy the Super Bowl-fan free Los Angeles streets.

Just make sure to get back before too late, as Super Bowl Sunday is also reportedly one of the worst days for drunk driving.

2. Television

You can also stay in — there are plenty of other TV options during the Super Bowl.

(Be sure to check local listings; some cable providers also provide live access on the West Coast to the East Coast feed, so those programs will start three hours earlier.)

3. DVD (Netflix/Redbox/etc.)

4. Movies

And I’m sorry — you’ll have to wait until next weekend for “Top Gun” in 3D IMAX.

This Sunday, even if you don’t care about football, also be sure to remember one important fact: Without the Super Bowl, there wouldn’t be Super Bowl commercials.
