UPDATE Wednesday, May 22: Where's the "Arrested Development" banana stand on Wednesday? At the Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills. They're streaming old episodes of the show, and they're having a very special costume invitation:

Fingers crossed for a David Cross/Tobias sighting.

UPDATE Tuesday, May 21: The "Arrested Development" banana stand is taking a place at the Grove Tuesday from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m.

The show's Mae Whitman and Judy Greer showed up at the banana stand Monday in Culver City:

Monday: The “Arrested Development” hype machine is in overdrive as the first new episodes in seven years arrive on Netflix late Saturday night, and now it’s taking physical form here in Los Angeles: A full-featured, functional Bluth’s Original Frozen Banana Stand is open Monday from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The stand isn’t on its TV home of Balboa Island in Newport Beach (yet) — it’s in downtown Culver City in an empty lot next to a Trader Joe’s, at 9300 Culver Boulevard, according to a press release from Netflix. We’ll update you with further sightings this week as we hear them.

While the stand is selling treats, you’ll even be able to secure some free frozen banana giveaways from the “Arrested Development”-backed eatery courtesy the show’s stars.

Judy Greer, aka George Bluth Sr.’s personal assistant Kitty Sanchez, is making an appearance at the stand at 3 p.m. Monday. Will Arnett, Jason Bateman, Ron Howard and Terry Crews all appeared during the stand’s week in New York City, so stay tuned to see what celebs are going to be dropping in now that it’s in L.A.

The New York City appearances of the banana stand included a never nudes reunion and a chicken dance-off, so what does the L.A. version have in store?

One future appearance we know about: Jeffrey Tambor has vowed to appear at the banana stand this week:

The show’s famous Stair Car has also been spotted, appearing over the weekend at the Grove on Friday, at Hollywood and Highland on Saturday and at the Santa Monica Pier on Sunday.

Those 15 brand new episodes arrive Saturday night/Sunday morning at 12:01 a.m., all together for your marathoning enjoyment — you’ll be putting in a full workday getting through all of those Sunday.

Two episodes of the show debuted at a Hollywood screening last month, though beyond some high-profile guest stars like Kristen Wiig, details on what’s contained therein remain a little sparse. But the waiting’s almost over.

Watch the trailer for season 4 below:

This post will be updated with further L.A. banana stand sightings.
