Former California governor/action hero Arnold Schwarzenegger really wants you to go see his new movie “Escape Plan,” so he’s taken to Reddit to give his fans what they really want: Him yelling your favorite lines on video.
As Schwarzenegger explains, “Whenever I go to an event, someone asks me to yell out one of my lines. Even when I walk into Starbucks, people scream at me to ‘Get to the choppa.’” So, since he’s already done an AMA Q&A, he decided on a new course of action: “I thought it would be fun to offer myself to yell out all of your favorite lines.”
He also notes that he’s on set for another film, but planned to yell them out when he had time over the course of the day.
“I can’t wait to scream one of my wilder lines and scare the crew.”
He started out with a line from “Escape Plan,” taking a shot at vegetarians in the process:
Showing that he really is up for anything, here is yelling a line from the Christmas classic co-starring Sinbad, “Jingle All The Way”:
Next up: “Kindergarten Cop,” and not the line you expect.
He followed up later with an excerpt from his famous Conan monologue (no, not the late night talk show):
Next up was an angry one from "Running Man." This one may make you feel threatened. (Warning: Contains adult language.)
After night fell, Arnold kept going, delivering that line you thought he was going to say earlier — along with a shoutout to a fan who requested it stationed in Afghanistan:
Let's hope he makes these full YouTube videos necessary with some extended monologues; otherwise, shoot us a Vine, OK Governator?
Schwarzenegger also made news Friday by saying that, despite speculation he might try to get the Constitution changed so that he could run for president despite being from Austria, that's not in the plans:
