The Roundup: Bored To Death feature + entertainment notes for the week

Ted Danson, Zach Galifianakis, and Jason Schwartzman are set to return in a feature length release of HBO's "Bored To Death" as penned by series creator, Jonathan Ames.

Word came out yesterday that HBO's critically acclaimed series, "Bored To Death," will have a feature-length film version moving past the script stage into development. Series creator Jonatham Ames has been working on the extended vehicle for the original crew of misfits played by Jason Schwartzman, Zach Galifianakis, and Ted Danson but there is no estimated delivery date on this (much anticipated project).

Great TV so far this week included "Parenthood" season finale, "The Burn with Jeffrey Ross," and "Justified." Don't miss TV highlights (premieres and new episodes) in the "DVR This!" section below along with other entertainment and comedy notes.

Comedy Notes: Anthony Jeselnik's new special premiered on Sunday and now "Caligula" is available  as is Nerdist extraordinaire Chris Hardwick's "Mandroid." Some great shows at the Hollywood Improv include Sean Conroy's Deep Dish on Saturday, January 26; Eugene Mirman on January 26; and Maria Bamford on February 2. Kurt Braunohler and Kristen Schaal have brought their extremely popular alt show, Hot Tub, from New York to Los Angeles and it makes its debut this Monday, January 28, at The Virgil on Santa Monica with guests that include Marc Maron, the Sklar Brothers, and Hannibal Buress.
