FYF Fest (the festival formerly known a F— Yeah Fest) rocked the L.A. State Historic Park Saturday with headliners Refused and M83, as well as other popular acts with indie cred like Sleigh Bells, James Blake, Simian Mobile Disco, Quicksand and more.

Day 2 looks ready to keep it going with headliners Beirut and the Faint, plus classic acts like Dionsaur Jr. and Turbonegro. The festival sprawls out over four stages with a little something for everyone, as long as you’re willing to keep an open mind.

Some say the show’s lost a little of its edge, but they’ve still made room for bands like F—ed Up (they may not bleep it out in their version).

Beyond music, there are also several comedy sets with some of comedy’s biggest names, including David Cross, Maria Bamford and Pete Holmes.

L.A. punk band Redd Kross may have played their song “Stay Away From Downtown” Saturday… but it doesn’t look like many L.A. music fans are listening.
