Would you back Kim?

America’s favorite reality star, Kim Kardashian, has announced her intentions to become mayor of Glendale someday.

Entertainment Weekly picked up an E! online clip, apparently from an unaired bit of last weekend’s “Khloe & Lamar,” wherein Kardashian lets slip her plan while driving around Dallas with sister Khloe:

“I’ve decided I’m gonna run for the mayor of Glendale,” Kim says matter-of-factly.

“This is the Ross Perot museum,” Khloe interrupts.

“So for real, so Noel’s gonna head my campaign, but it’s gonna be in like five years,” Kim says.

“Excuse me people you’re not letting me over!” Khloe yells at other drivers.

The Armenian-American star added that she’s attracted to Glendale because it’s “Armenian town,” and said she hopes to buy property there in the future.

It is unknown what party Kardashian belongs to, but five years should be enough time for her to build up her political base and start a warchest.

The fairest Kardashian is no stranger to politics, sort of. For example, she was recently made a poster child for tax reform (although that was done without her consent). And she has banned the sale of fur from her Dash clothing stores.

The term of Glendale’s current mayor, Frank Quintero, expires in April 2013. Council members serve four-year terms -- putting Kardashian right in line for a 2017 bid?
