The actor Nick Stahl, best known for his role opposite Claire Danes in “Terminator 3,” has gone missing, his wife says.

Police have confirmed with KPCC that Stahl’s wife, Rose Murphy, filed a missing persons report Monday and says she hasn’t seen her husband since May 9. No foul play is suspected.

TMZ says that the married couple was estranged of late, and that Murphy filed court papers three months ago claiming her husband may be on drugs. He has been behaving erratically, and she didn’t want him high around their 2-year-old daughter.

Stahl, 32, began his career as a child actor, gaining recognition in the 1993 Mel Gibson film “The Man Without a Face.”
