In a talk at Loyola Marymount University, Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa got personal about the challenges in his personal and professional lives.
It was just two weeks ago that Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa opened up at Loyola Marymount University and now video of that speech has been made public.
In his talk with Fernando Guerra of the Leavey Center for the Study of Los Angeles, the mayor discussed the breakup of his marriage and the ways in which his political thinking has changed over the last 20 years.
The mayor's next talk is scheduled for July 18 at Cal State Los Angeles. He is expected to talk about public safety with Raphael Sonenshein, executive director of the Pat Brown Institute for Public Affairs.
