Muslim teenagers Anfal Morsy (L) and Sara Bouabibsa look at their bowling shoes during a group outing at the Yerba Buena Bowling Center in San Francisco, California.
Nearly a million Muslims live in Southern California and, as with most faiths, there are all kinds.
To explore the many different facets of Muslim experience, KPCC’s Ruxandra Guidi takes our Crawford Family Forum on the road to the Cerritos Public Library this evening for a live program on “Muslim American Identities.”
We’ll hear from a diverse panel of Southland Muslims, and we’d like to hear from you. The event is free, but you must RSVP first at KPCC.org/forum.
If you can't make it we'll have a live blog of this event , as it happens, at kpcc.org.
If you would like to see the discussion it will take place at the Cerritos Public Library, Skyline Room which is at 18025 Bloomfield Avenue Cerritos, CA 90703
Check-in is at 7 p.m. The program will go from 7:30 p.m. through 9 p.m.
