A robot is brought in by authorities after a potential explosive device was left following a Moreno Valley bank robbery.
A Chase bank has been robbed in Riverside County, authorities say, and a bomb squad is investigating a suspicious object left behind.
The robbery occurred Tuesday morning at a Chase bank in Moreno Valley. Albert Martinez of the Riverside County Sheriff's Department tells KABC-TV that an unspecified amount of cash was taken from the bank and the suspect took the keys to employees' vehicles.
The station reports the robber left an item on a counter and a bomb squad is trying to determine if it's an explosive.
No arrests have been made.
Last week, two men abducted the manager of an East Los Angeles bank and strapped what turned out to be a fake bomb to her in a scheme to rob a Bank of America branch.
