Law enforcement pressure on medical marijuana dispensaries in the Southland continues with a recent series of raids in Long Beach.
Seven medical marijuana businesses were targeted this week, including two on Wednesday. Ten people were arrested and investigators seized cash and pot.
Police said they are aimed at shuttering pot shops in the city.
Long Beach police, Los Angeles County district attorney's office and California Franchise Tax Board investigators participated in the raids.
Police spokeswoman Nancy Pratt tells the Daily Breeze that more raids are likely unless the city's remaining dispensaries voluntarily shut down.
