California Sen. Dianne Feinstein, chairwoman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, said she wishes President Barack Obama hadn't accepted CIA Director David Petraeus's resignation over an extramarital affair.
"I wish President Obama had not accepted this resignation, but I understand and respect the decision," Feinstein said, according to reports. "This is an enormous loss for our nation’s intelligence community and for our country. "
Feinstein is scheduled to appear on Fox News Sunday, where she'll likely be asked about the Petraeus resignation.
