MAP: LA gasoline prices drop to an average of $3.88, lowest in months

Gasoline prices continue dropping in LA County, with the average price $3.89 a gallon Wednesday. The price is slightly lower in Riverside and San Bernardino counties.

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County continues to decline, now at $3.88, the lowest since August 7.

Gas tracking groups said the average price has dropped nearly 81 cents during the past month, after hitting a record high of $4.70 a gallon on October 9.

The average price for a gallon of premium dropped to $4.10.

The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties is $3.83 for a gallon of self-serve regular.
