Help us find worthy volunteer groups to showcase for aid this holiday season

About 350 volunteers helped pass out holiday meals to the homeless on Thanksgiving 2011 at the Los Angeles Midnight Mission on Skid Row.

As part of our coverage leading up to and through the holidays, we'll be featuring organizations that could use help this season in a series of short profiles online and on air. We want to know your thoughts.

The series will include short radio and web profiles on nonprofits around the Southland (not just L.A.!), as well as a map of organizations in the area that could use volunteers, donations or help of any sort.
