Newborn's body found in City of Industry recycling yard

Tthe body was found Monday afternoon on a conveyer belt at Athens Services in the City of Industry, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

A news release says detectives are investigating the death and no details are being released.

Athens Services is a waste collection and recycling company that has trash and recyclable collection contracts with several communities.
