Connecticut School Shooting: LA speaks up about guns

An official with knowledge of Friday's shooting said 27 people were dead, including 18 children. It was the worst school shooting in the country's history.

Southern Californians are are voicing a variety of gun-related reactions to Friday's tragedy at an elementary school in Connecticut.  At least 27 people are dead, the majority of them children aged 5-10, after Adam Lanza, 20, allegedly fired rounds into two classrooms. Among the deceased are the school's principal and the gunman’s mother who reportedly taught there.
