Chinatown fire leaves 3 injured

L.A. City Fire says a fire earlier tonight left 3 injured.

Three people were injured in a fire that broke out this afternoon in an apartment building near Chinatown. An L.A. City Fire spokesman says one older female resident is in grave conditon.

The fire broke out in an upstairs unit of a 2-story apartment building, which is on North Cleveland street near Alpine.

Firefighters extinguished the fire in about 13 minutes. The L.A. City Fire department doesn't know at this time what caused the fire.
