Jon Stewart to host Bruce Springsteen tribute in LA with Neil Young, Elton John, Jackson Browne

The Recording Academy announced that Jon Stewart, host of MTV's "The Jon Stewart Show" Comedy Central's "The Daily Show," will be the man with the mic for the 2013 MusiCares concert, held Feb. 8 in Los Angeles, two days before the Grammy Awards.

Neil Young, Jackson Browne, Elton John, Mavis Staples, Sting, Mumford and Sons and more than a dozen other artists will salute Springsteen, MusiCares' "Person of the Year" for artistic and philanthropic achievement.
The sold-out show will benefit the organization's emergency financial assistance and addiction recovery programs. MusiCares exists to ensure "that music people have a place to turn in times of financial, medical and personal need," notes the Recording Academy.
Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band recently transformed Anaheim's Honda Center into the Bossiest place on Earth during a Southern California tour stop.
