Accused killer Christopher Dorner mentioned many celebrities and journalists in his 20-page manifesto.
Dorner expressed criticism to some, and high praise to others. Of those Dorner respected included a Hollywood bad boy.
"Charlie Sheen, you're effin awesome," Dorner wrote.
Never one to shy away from the spotlight, Sheen created a short video reply.
"You mentioned me in your manifesto, so thank you for your kind words," Sheen said from a large couch. "I am urging you to call me. Let's figure out together how to end this thing. Call me. I look forward to talking to you."
Other celebrities Dorner wrote about positively were Larry David, Ellen DeGeneres, and Christoph Waltz.
Radio and television journalists were also mentioned by Dorner in his manifesto.
"Revoke the citizenship of Fareed Zakaria and deport him" Dorner wrote of the CNN host. "I've never heard a positive word about America or its interest from his mouth, ever. On the same day, give Piers Morgan an indefinite resident alien and Visa card."
Dorner was also, seemingly, a big fan of local AM talk station KFI.
"John and Ken from KFI, never mute your facts and personal opinions," Dorner advised. "You are one of the few media personalities who speak the truth, even when the truth isnot popular. I will miss listening to your discussions."
But that's not where Dorner's praise of KFI ended. "Bill Handel, your effin awesome. For years I enjoyed your show," the murder suspect wrote.
Like Sheen, Handel responded in a video response. The host assured Dorner that his side of the story would come out.
"You've made your point. You've gotten your idea across," Handel said. "Isn't it time to turn yourself in?" he asked. "Let's end it, please turn yourself in.
