James Franco stars in everything. Even the sidewalk. Related, here's a nightmarish sentence: The new "Wizard of Oz" movie opens this weekend. 

On March 8, "Oz The Great and Powerful" opens across the land. To participate in the national dismantling of all childhoods, simply follow the nothing-is-sacred-I-guess brick road to the nearest movie theater for a big-screen blasphemy in green.  

That said, it looks pretty good.

In case it's not, James Franco got his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Thursday, March 7. And we can be sure it really happened because seemingly everyone there took a photo of him, and in many cases, with him.

The 34-year-old Oscar nominee was introduced at the ceremony by actor Seth Rogen, his co-star from projects like 'Pineapple Express' and the much-beloved 'Freaks and Geeks,' and 'Oz' director Sam Raimi. Then Franco posed on the ground in the fetal position clutching an action figure of himself. Naturally.
