The boy who entered East Los Angeles College at 8 years of age and graduated at 11 with a 4.0 GPA is set to graduate from UCLA on June 17 at age 15 with a bachelor's degree in mathematics.
Moshe Kai Cavalin graduated from the two-year East L.A. College and went on "to study at UCLA on a prestigious Regents Scholarship, which awards $2,000 a year for two years to about 100 students," reports NBC LA.
The teen plans to take a year off after graduation to accomplish a couple of things. Like getting a driver's license and learning French.
Goals for the 15-year-old – who is already a best-selling author and accomplished martial artist – include finishing his latest book (this one about bullies), getting his pilot’s and driver’s licenses, learning French and playing classical piano.
He may go on to obtain a master's degree, but says his future is completely open.
Michael Kearney, the country's youngest college graduate received his bachelor's degree in 1994 at the age of 10.
