In an effort to stop her husband from traveling to Atlanta for another woman, Johnna Woolfolk called in a false bomb threat to an airline. She will be sentenced in a Los Angeles courtroom this morning.
The 51-year-old Lynwood resident phoned AirTran last November and reported that her husband was carrying an explosive device onto the plane at LAX.
Woolfolk pleaded guilty in January to a single felony count of conveying false and misleading information.
Prosecutors have reportedly recommended the woman be sentenced to two years' probation, community service, restitution to AirTran, and mental health treatment.
