Bobby Brown was arrested in the San Fernando Valley on Monday on suspicion of driving under the influence, according to California Highway Patrol, the L.A. Times reports.
Officers reportedly administered a field sobriety test to Brown after pulling him over at the corner of Victory and Wilbur in Reseda just before 12:30 p.m. for talking on his cell phone.
The arrest comes days after autopsy results revealed his ex-wife, Whitney Houston, died from an accidental drowning with contributing factors of cocaine use and a heart episode. Their 14-year marriage was "tarnished by drug abuse, Brown's run-ins with the law and allegations of domestic abuse," the Times added.
Brown made news during Houston's funeral when left the proceedings early after he was asked several times to move. After much speculation on his dramatic departure, Brown, who was on tour with his '80s group New Edition, quickly released a statement.
