He sounded his barbaric Yawp over the roofs of the world -- or at least over the roofs of Chino Hills.
According to the San Bernardino Sun, a young man who appeared to be deranged and was “threatening family members” Thursday morning fled to a neighbor’s roof in order to evade sheriff’s deputies.
After a three-hour standoff, the man came down peacefully.
Deputies were called to the scene on Bird Farm Road at about 11:15 a.m. -- but it took them another three hours or so to talk the man down. The 19-year-old was taken to a nearby hospital for a mental evaluation, according to the Sun.
