Jenna Jameson was arrested Friday May 25, 2012 for suspected DUI.
Jenna Jameson was arrested early Friday morning in Southern California on suspicion of driving under the influence.
The ex-adult film star struck a light pole with her vehicle, say Westminster police, who received a 911 call reporting the accident around 12:45 a.m., reports the OC Register.
The famous former porn actress, who suffered minor injuries in the accident but refused medical treatment, showed signs of intoxication prompting authorities to conduct a field sobriety test, according to a statement.
Jameson, who has twin sons with mixed martial arts star Tito Ortiz, was booked at the Westminster City Jail and later cited and released.
An alleged drunken driver smacked into this sheriff's patrol vehicle in Lomita over the Cinco de Mayo weekend.
Second place for drunk-driving stupidity over the Cinco de Mayo weekend -- a distant second after the DUI rampage in East L.A. -- might go to the alleged drunken driver who injured a sheriff’s sergeant after rear-ending his patrol car in Lomita on Saturday.
Sheriff’s officials say 57-year-old James Cuddy of Lomita was arrested Saturday afternoon after rear-ending a marked patrol car waiting at the light at Pennsylvania Avenue and Pacific Coast Highway in Lomita.
Cuddy was drunk when the incident occurred at about 2:50 p.m., authorities say. He was arrested on charges of felony DUI and is being held on $100,000 bail.
A Lomita Sheriff’s Station sergeant was behind the wheel of his patrol vehicle when the crash occurred and received minor injuries, authorities said. He was treated and released.
Perhaps the most egregious drunk driving incident of the Cinco de Mayo weekend came early on out of East L.A., when a man behind the wheel of his parked car awoke out of a drunken stupor, started the car and drove off -- and proceeded to injure four people, damage six vehicles and generally wreak havoc on the neighborhood.
According to Sgt. David Holwager of the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department, several calls came in at about 2:15 p.m. Thursday after witnesses spotted a man asleep behind the wheel of his white Chevy Tahoe -- apparently passed-out drunk -- near Clara Park in Cudahy. Even as dispatchers were typing in the information, however, the man woke up and drove away -- immediately slamming into two parked cars and sideswiping a third vehicle on the 4800 block of Clara Street.
But he wasn’t done there. The driver, identified only as a “male Hispanic,” continued on even when sheriff’s deputies caught up to him on Atlantic Avenue -- “driving erratically, with noticeable collision damage” -- and tried to pull him over. He refused, authorities say, instead blowing through two red lights.

Amanda Bynes, the blonde actress who was once a Nickelodeon channel darling, was arrested early Friday morning for sideswiping a car in Santa Monica.
The "Easy A" star didn't pick just any old vehicle to hit, her victim was a Santa Monica Police cruiser.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department report states that Bynes attempted to pass the police vehicle as it prepared to make a right turn at around 3 a.m. in West Hollywood when her BMW struck with the right rear panel of the police cruiser, causing minor damage to both vehicles.
The 26-year-old's bail was set at just $5,000 but she is reportedly still in police custody.
Last month the "What A Girl Wants" actress was allegedly talking on her cell phone when she was pulled over by police when she reportedly bolted from authorities, according to TMZ. Bynes later returned to station to sign the ticket.
