Emmy thing you need: A recap for the drinkers

It was the Emmys vs. the NFL in the World Series of televison on Sunday, as bars across the land were forced to face a channel-clicking conflict and the toughest question of all: Are we secretly a television bar with a sports problem?

The award show caused minor ruckus after bellyaching ruckus in establishments otherwise tuned to the drama of the Baltimore Ravens / New England Patriots football game. Twitter, as expected, took the opportunity to flap about priorities.

Never realized how LA LA really was until I walked to bar to catch end of football game and the Emmys were on the TVs instead. #companytown
