At the house No Doubt built, front femme Gwen Stefani hosted a family-friendly fundraiser on Sunday featuring Michelle Obama.
The first of the first lady's three finance-finding missions, Obama's two day tour of Los Angeles started in a gated Beverly Hills enclave off Mulholland Drive where she mingled with many pockets in 90+ degree heat for what was billed as a "Sunday of Fun."
Tickets for the backyard playdate started at $2500 for a family of four, and approximately 400 guests were expected to attend with proceeds benefitting the Obama Victory Fund -- a joint fundraising committee of Obama for America, the Democratic National Committee and a number of state Democratic parties.
According to the Pool report, Obama spoke to a crowd of parents, temporarily tattooed children, and a hot dog balloon hat wearing staff member, remarking that, "Barack can’t do it alone. He’s not Spider-Man. He’s not a superhero. He’s a human. So, he needs your help."
