Authorities say the death of Katherine Wilkins does not appear to be foul play.

The body of the 25-year-old graphic designer was discovered in the garage of her Malibu home on Saturday night. LASD investigators say her death does not seem to involve any crime.

A young woman was found dead in the garage of a Malibu home Saturday evening. Her car is missing.

The body of 25-year-old graphic designer Katherine Jessie Wilkins was reportedly found by her brother in a garage in the 23400 block of Moon Shadows Drive on Saturday evening. Wilkins' 1998 silver paint, red-interior BMW Z3 (license plate: 4AMN588) was not there, however, according to her father Rob Wilkins.

Sheriff's deputies have revealed little about the death. Homicide detectives were reportedly assigned to the case, however no formal announcement has been made about a homicide. The neighborhood, a cul-de-sac off Rambla Pacifico, is an unlikely one for crime, notes the Daily News.

An autopsy is pending for Monday.
