Microsoft spills few details about mysterious Milk Studios announcement

Microsoft is spilling very few details about its invitation-only event on Monday at Milk Studios in Hollywood except to say there will be a "major" announcement.

Tech prognosticators are seeing a number of potential futures with talk of possible tablets, e-readers, next-generation game consoles, company acquisitions, and music services by the Windows giant.

Consider it a mystery for the ages, or for at least a few more hours until the news conference live blogging begins at 3:30 p.m.
