Teen boxer dies after sparring, autopsy inconclusive

The LA Daily News reports that the autopsy is complete on 16-year-old boxer Raul Alvarez Jr., but that the examination was inconclusive. 

 The teenager died after sparring at Pullmans Gym in Burbank last Thursday. Officials say Alvarez was wearing protective gear and a helmet, and was partnered with someone about his age and build. He complained of pain and became unconscious at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center. 

The Los Angeles County coroner's office says more tests have been ordered but could take more than two months to complete.
