Robert Charles Lee
A serial rapist convicted of 11 attacks on women in L.A. and Orange counties will never know freedom again after a judge sentenced him to 764 years in prison today.
Robert Charles Lee, 42, of Fullerton, was convicted in March of three-dozen counts stemming from a series of rapes against 10 different women between 1997 and 2006. Prosecutors from the L.A. County District Attorney’s Office announced the ruling today by Superior Court Judge Larry P. Fidler, who decided Lee should be put away for 764 years and eight months to life in state prison.
Deputy District Attorney Martha Carrillo said Lee attacked his victims in their homes and sexually assaulted them, one of them twice and many of them at knifepoint. His victims ranged in age from 32 to 80, and most were elderly and disabled, according to Carrillo. Four were from Orange County and six from Los Angeles County.
